What Is A Veneer?

Do you have gaps in your teeth that need closing? Are your front teeth broken, chipped, misshaped, crooked and stained, discoloured or have metal fillings? If so, have you considered veneers?

Made from thin slivers of porcelain or composite resin, veneers are permanently bonded to the front teeth to create a perfectly shaped, natural in appearance, newly improved smile.

Durable and custom made, tooth veneers require very little tooth removal, and so are an ideal solution for closing gaps between teeth in addition to treating many other cosmetic dental conditions.

What’s Involved in Making Porcelain Veneers?
Typically, crafting porcelain veneers requires two visits for complete process.

A team approach involves both you and our dental technicians for both minor and more complex cases to ensure you receive the long lasting smile you want.

We want you to be happy with any cosmetic dental outcome we undertake. Initial consultations are very very important. What do you want your teeth to look like? What is involved in making this happens? What are the pro, cons & costs involved in achieving your desired outcome? What will your smile actually look like? By mocking up your new look on models of your teeth or even on your teeth (a trial smile) we can give you a good idea of how things will look before we have even started. This means we are providing you with the smile you want rather than the smile mwe think you would like! Then we can proceed with certainty.Veneer Process Involving Our Dental Technicians

  1. Treatment appointments -Teeth  are prepared with a light buffing and shaping of their surfaces, during the initial appointment. Impressions of the teeth are taken and a temporary restoration are made.
  2. The impressions are given to the dental technician who crafts our veneers to compliment your smile. This lab process typically requires about a week. (Although the lab production time can be reduced if required)
  3. The fit appointment - The dental veneers will be assessed for suitability by trying them so you can check how they look. If you are happy with the appearance we bond your new porcelain veneers to your teeth.

You now have a custom, long lasting new smile!
